“After living here for a few months there really is nothing we would change - it’s been lovely and cool through the hot weather so far - we’ve barely had the fans on, and haven’t turned the aircons on at all. It really all just fits us down to a T. The bags and shoes are even staying in the hallway! (I did think I was being a bit optimistic on that front).”
“Every day we are appreciating all the thought that went into the design of this house. I remember a conversation early in the piece where you talked me out of having the multi room right off the lounge room, and you were absolutely right - the living space in the centre of the house is so beautiful that we are almost always together in it. It really does work to help us hang out together as a family, except when we need our own space, when there is ample room for that. M’s office, on the other hand, is just as separate as it needs to be, and is working really well.”
“The fact that you can close off so many spaces in the house with sliding doors is also working brilliantly with a puppy in the house, as is the fact that we can take her straight outside from the bedroom! Perhaps most amazingly, we are actually using the carport for the car, except when we want to play ping pong :) Also with the puppy, we’re spending much more time outside and appreciating the excellent inside/outside flow that we have around the back patio, which we are using a lot more than we had anticipated doing.”
