Revealing our Dream Homes Revealed segment!

To celebrate Sustainable House Day 2023 we thought we’d give you a sneak peek at the Dream Homes Revealed segment on Jenny’s House that will go to air sometime later this year.

The 7th of November 2022 started out as a magically beautiful Spring day. Little did we know it was the calm before the storm!

Half an hour before the Dream Homes Revealed film crew and presenter Simone Haag rolled in at 1:30pm, a rather spectacular storm blew in and took the power out. The show must go on though and, with good spirits, we all decided we could squeeze filming in the next morning between 7:30 and 8:30am. The result is a fun segment that captures the not-so-bright, early morning light… rather than the early afternoon light which really washes the house brightly.

As you’ll see from the video (scroll to the bottom for the full draft segment which we have permission to release) and some of the still shot captures here, Jenny and Simone had lots of fun chatting about the house. As I said in the Instagram post immediately after the DHR crew left, Simone’s wrap of the house was perfect: “a home that combines architecture, science, art and landscape to show that sustainable living is accessible to everyone. Dream homes don’t have to be big homes!”
