How we start your project
We've been excitedly preparing for our collaboration with P.O.D. (People Oriented Design), from Cairns, for Saturday's 'Least House Necessary Workshop'. They asked us to prepare a few sketches that capture the analysis and conceptual ideas behind a couple of our projects.
You can see the results below! We think these images are possibly the best answer to the question "so what does an architect do?" As you can see, there's a lot of problem-solving to be done in order to optimise passive solar orientation and views, address opportunities and constraints of the site (including council restrictions), as well as the client's lifestyle and budget!
