The Bolt-on Tree House
The original Dirk Bolt designed dwelling, whilst having a strong formal presence on the street, exhibited some shortcomings in amenity, functionality and delight. This project aims to achieve a maximum increase in all of these qualities whilst maintaining the smallest footprint possible, and working within a modest budget. Increasing the thermal performance and delight of the home is integral to the project brief.
