From the clients in March 2022 (this is why we do what we do):
“The bank valuer has just left following the final inspection. He commented that it was the most beautiful home he had ever visited and asked who had designed it. He also noticed how comfortable it felt inside and asked about the EER! He looked like he didn’t want to leave... he just kept looking and admiring 😊”
“And from us too – this house is so wonderfully comfortable but also so beautiful – all the lines and all the views from the windows are perfect. It’s an artwork and we really appreciate how your skill and vision brought it all together. Thank you!”
A key innovation in this home is the achievement of high energy efficiency without high-tech, expensive construction techniques. We pride ourselves on achieving such incredible results with standard residential construction materials and methods. We do not use internal air barrier membranes or special services cavities, which keeps construction costs lower and provides better thermal bang-for-buck.
[**Please note, EER is climate specific. Houses in more extreme climates, like Canberra's where it can go from -8 in winter to 44 in summer, rate lower than homes in less severe climates like Brisbane and Sydney, because they require more energy to maintain at comfy temperatures all year round. When this particular house design is assessed in Sydney or Brisbane it rates at 9.4 stars.]
