Window seats
Window seats are space efficient and fabulous but you can’t do them on great big, full height windows. Remember, bigger does not equal better (particularly when it comes to windows in Canberra’s climate of extremes).
Glazing doesn’t have to be grand in scale to be gorgeous The space beneath and around a window can be so functional… and can transform a room in delightful ways.
Here are snaps of just some of the window seats we’ve done over the last few years. Many of these are north facing making them gorgeous sunny nooks to relax in the sunshine on a winter’s day and appropriately shaded places to admire the garden during summer. Enjoy!
