Walking on sunshine: sharing in solar!
Light House is thrilled to be one of the twenty seed round investors in Canberra's first community solar farm. SolarShare Community Energy Ltd (SolarShare) are developing a 1MW Greenfield solar project to be nestled between the old Majura Rd and the new Majura bypass. This will be the largest community owned solar facility in Australia. We are very pleased to help SolarShare spread the word about their great work for the Canberra community and to be on board this groundbreaking project.
SolarShare is for anyone who wants to be part of the shift to a renewable energy economy. This includes people who previously had no access to the solar power market, such as renters or those without a roof suitable for solar panels. Anyone who wants to move towards greening the grid while making a local and ethical investment is welcome.
