Retrofit for energy efficiency & comfort
A video of my February presentation to the ACT Renew branch was added to the Renew YouTube channel in July. It’s missing a bit at the start (as I explain how I got into this energy efficient house caper; talking about my previous home) and a little bit in the middle (where I talk about some really cost-effective uPVC windows).
In typical Jenny-style, I wave my hands around a lot and talk most enthusiastically about draught sealing (and on this particular night strangely seem to get confused about east and west... it had been a looooong day). Anyway, I discuss two projects — one very small budget and the other a fair bit bigger but in both cases the clients avoided having to build a whole new home! Hope it inspires some of you.
