Dru Davidson
Dru has been with us since the very beginning. Following almost 30 years flying planes for the Australian Airforce and Qantas, he decided to change tact and follow his passion for architecture and design. After starting a Diploma of Architectural Drafting he was lucky to score some part time work with architect, Andy Verri. This led to an Advanced Diploma of Building Design and drafting plans for Jigsaw Housing and then here at Light House.
After working on almost every Light House project there is, AND building his own home, Dru knows Revit (our architectural design software) like the back of his hand, and puts together a mean set of construction drawings. Fortunately he really loves it, because we’d be lost without him.
He enjoys being part of the design process and helping clients bring their dreams to life through the plans. Dru also has a keen interest in accessibility and adaptable living in residential design.
Outside of work Dru is busy with his family and three kids, and tinkering with his home. He also loves to squeeze in the occasional social game of tennis or touch football.
