Jenny's in the House... at the AIRAH Building Physics Forum

Jenny in AIRAH magazine (002).jpg

Jenny was amused and surprised when her cousin in Perth, a HVAC (heating ventilation and air-con) specialist and sustainability consultant, emailed her the screen capture above. He was sitting down to read Ecolibrium, the great little magazine produced by AIRAH (the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating) and he was amused and surprised to see her face grinning back at him!

Jenny is getting her geek on next Wednesday and Thursday in Melbourne when she will be hanging out with nearly 100 building physics fans at the AIRAH #BuildingPhysicsForum2019.

On the Wednesday morning she'll be presenting 'Designing and building, cost-effective, high-performance homes: lessons learned'. A reflection on 10 years and 100+ projects in the sustainable housing space in Canberra. Click here for more info.

While down south in the big smoke, she will also be:
1. stopping by to talk architecture and science with new friends and colleagues at Mihaly Slocombe, a terrific and innovative residential architecture practice based in Brunswick East
2. hanging out with her air leakage testing mates on the Friday to complete her all day exam to become one of a handful of Australian ATTMA accredited testers
3. and catching up with her fellow My Efficient Electric Home admins, Tim and Richard, to talk heat pumps and star ratings!
